HOW DO I DO THAT?
Q. I received an e-mail confirming my student has applied for an Imagine America scholarship. How do I "approve" or "deny" it?
A. Good question. The first thing you need to do is get to the "Applicant Management Login" page.
How to get to the "Application Management Login" page: If you have not received a confirmation e-mail or just want to check your account, you can go to www.imagine-america.org.
- Click on either "High School Counselors" or "Career Colleges" in the left-hand navigation.
- If you are a high school counselor, click on "Process Student Applications." Career college representatives should click on "Process Student Applications and Award Reports."
- Click on "Process Applications," and this will bring you to the "Applicant Management Login" page.
We suggest that you bookmark the "Application Management Login" page for easy access.
Follow these five steps to approve or deny a student’s application:
- Log in with your username and password. If you have forgotten your password, you can request it by e-mailing us at scholarships@career.org or by calling us at 202.336.6800.
- Once you have logged in, the names and information of the students who have applied for the scholarship will come up.
- To approve all applications, click on "Set All to Approved." Wait for it to process and then click on "Update All Changes" at the bottom right. To deny all, click on "Set All to Denied" and repeat these steps.
- To approve or deny one application at a time, go to "Approval Status" on the far right side of the page. There will be a drop-down menu for each application. In the drop down menu, choose "Approve" or "Disapprove" and click on "Update All Changes."
- Once the application has been processed, it will be removed from the "Applicant Management Login" page, and you will receive a confirmation e-mail. If it has not been removed, attempt to repeat these steps or contact us by e-mailing scholarships@career.org or calling 202.336.6800.
Finally, we strongly encourage you to change your password if you have not done so recently. We also hope these steps have made it easier for you to manage your students' applications.
