Lockheed Martin helps students with military service records receive scholarships

Scholarships provide prospective students with the financial freedom to pursue their educations, and Lockheed Martin, an advanced technology company, is helping make those aspirations possible for students with military service records.
Lockheed Martin provides financial assistance to military veterans, including young men and women returning from military service in Iraq and Afghanistan, by its support of the Imagine America Foundation's LDRSHIP award. Applicants include reservist, honorably discharged, retired or active duty military personnel attending career colleges. Students are eligible to receive as much as $5,000 toward their current career college education. They must also maintain a 3.5 grade point average and a 95 percent attendance record. The acronym LDRSHIP stands for loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity and personal courage.
